ASPECT OF GRACE
IN SALVATION
Grace is often said to be unmerited favor of God received
by man, Jesus brought Grace to modify and compliment the law (John. 1:17) not
to abolish it, Salvation is purely obedience to the saviors command (law)
complimentary. Though we are in the second to the last period ordained by God,
the period of Grace leading to the last period i.e. the second coming of
Christ.
Must you leave your life as you wish because we are in the
time of Grace? Before you do so, you need to provide answers to this question
Biblically. Do Grace cover sin or gives us free access to sin? NO! it only
maximize the present punishment to it or covers it instant punishment to
latter. Can Grace abound in sin or reduce God’s standard for man or make any
law of God unimportant for us to comply with? NO! also note that the Grace that
worked for Taiye might not work for Kehinde.
As good as Grace is, it does not cover sin and it cease
after death, when you go sinning because of non-instant punishment (work of
Grace) and what matters to you (such as Behaviour, actions, dressing, way of
talking e.t.c.) as a child o God before doesn’t matter to you again, it’s a
signal to know you’ve started missing God’s Grace upon your life and salvation is
on His way out of your life. Be mindful of the way you use Grace as you
commence your daily activities.
