TOPIC: BECOMING LIKE CHRIST IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

TEXT: Isaiah 42:6

INTRODUCTION:

            Righteousness is the firm foundation on which any spiritual experience is built upon. In defining righteousness in the Old Testament, it’s the way and manner man relates with God, relate in the context is the action that promotes peace and well being of human being with God.

          Also, in the New Testament, righteousness means to live in accordance with the Word of God, (John 1:1) which makes a foundation for any spiritual standard.

The spiritual principles to be righteous entail the following:

1.     Knowing the right. Josh. 1:8, 1 Pt. 2:24

2.     Desire the right. Phil. 3:7, 3:14

3.     Doing the right. Rom. 14:16, Isa. 32:17, 2 Tim. 2:15

CONCLUSION:

You are not even a Christian until you have honestly believe and walk rightly like Christ, becoming a Christian is Christ living inside of you in righteousness. Halleluiah
