TOPIC: BEING LIKE CHRIST

TEXT: Col. 1:13-14

            What are the standards of new creature = becoming like Christ.

To be able to keep up with this standards, what the Lord expects us to do is to live up to the nature within (Col. 2:5, 3:3) and not compromise yourself to other Christian around you who may not even be living a Godly life (2 Cor. 10:12).

            We should believe one thing, “the nature of Holiness remains in us forever” because we are in Christ; it’s now let to us all on how we want people to see the Christ in us. We should always have this as our priority, “I must build a relationship with Christ”, when we have this, it will be very easy to represent Him as well as to also speak His mind then because we are Heavenly Beings on Heavenly journey (Gal. 5:25). And our main purpose is to bring more souls for Him.

            The way to Christ Heart is love (John 3:16, Mark 12:30), and to show your love for God, you must be able to disseminate the good will (Christ’s death and resurrection)

            This is the greatest commandment to love, if we want to showcase Christ since He is the one with us, which means we can do greater works than He did when He was on earth. For He has given it to us fully that we might have it all, all we need now is to start manifesting it for greater is He in us than He in the world.

            The end part of John 13:1 says, “Having loved His own who were in the world, He now showed them the full extent of His Love” (NIV), to be like Christ all we need is love or we have every other thing already giving to us in Christ Jesus. (Rom. 8:17)
